Day 01/ Delhi – Kasol ( 514 KM / Approx / 15 Hrs)
Arrival transfer from Delhi Volvo Bus Stand to Kasol by overnight journey. Kasol is a hamlet in the district Kullu of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, on the way between Bhuntar and Manikaran. It is located 30 km from Bhuntar and 3.5 km from Manikaran. Kasol is the Himalayan hotspot for backpackers and acts as a base for nearby treks To Kheerganga.
Day 02/ Arrive – Kasol
Morning upon arrival at Kasol check-in hotel. Afternoon visit around Kasol and nearby villages like Chalal and Manikaran Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) famous for its natural hot springs and temples. Manikaran is located in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh about 5,700 ft from mean sea level, Manikaran lies next to the Parvati River. The river gets its name from mythological stories connecting it to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. According to Hindu mythology, Hindus believe that law giver Manu recreated human life in Manikaran after the flood. Other legends associate Manikaran with Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Once while roaming through the valley, Shiva and Parvati came across the place called Manikaran and they decided to stay for some time. They stayed for over a millennium and during their stay, a jewel from Goddess Parvati’s earring fell in the river. Goddess Parvati was upset and all attempts to locate the jewel failed. Raging with anger, Lord Shiva opened his third eye. Shesh Naag (Serpent God) was approached by the gods to repress Lord Shiva’s anger. The Serpent God hissed and hot water started oozing from the place where the jewel had fallen which brought out numerous jewels like the one that was being sought. The sight of the jewels subdued Lord Shiva’s anger. Overnight stay at hotel in Kasol.
Day 03/ Kasol – Kheerganga Trek
Morning post breakfast drive from Kasol to Barshaini (14 Km drive) then from Barshaini to through the dense forest for 8-9 km an unforgettable trek to Kheerganga. Forest trekking is the best way to get close to nature. Our guide will give you wilderness survival tutorials on the way to get hold of your survival skills. Kheerganga, located at a height of 9712 ft is the most beautiful of all amongst the Parvati valley. After reaching Kheerganga check in camp and get relaxed, watch the sunset and wash your tiredness away in the mystical hot springs bath admiring the snow-clad peaks at an altitude of 13,051 feet. Overnight stay in Camp at Kheerganga.
Day 04/ Kheerganga – Tosh – Barshaini – Kasol
After Breakfast in camp, spend some time in Kheerganga, later proceed to explore the Tosh village and back to Barsheni. Tosh village is located at about 2,400 metres (7,900 ft) in elevation on a hill near Kasol in the Parvati Valley surrounded by mountains. Wooden houses in the village are excellent example of architecture of Mountain people. Alongside the village is the Parvati River which begins at the Mantalai Glacier within Parvati Valley which is a feeder valley for the Parvati Valley. The peaks surrounding the glacier include Papasura, White Sail, Angduri, Pinnacle, and Devachan. Evening check-in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Kasol.
Day 05/ Kasol – Delhi drop ( 514 KM / Approx / 15 Hrs)
After Breakfast free for your own activity till evening, departure transfer from Kasol Volvo Bus Stand Drop for your overnight journey to Delhi.
